What an amazing place. Where exactly is this place in the Trinity Alps? I want to go that swimming hole.
We started off on the Canyon Creel trailhead, about 20 minutes from Weaverville, towards Junction City. From the trailhead, 5 miles up and along the creek. The particular spot is a 5 minute walk from the trail, past that meadow. If you decide to go, pm me and I'll try and send you really exact directions. The swimming hole (there are many..) is not visible from the trailhead. The spot has many trees for hanging, spot for a fire....
Oh, that looks beautiful!
very nice. got to get up that way. thanks for the pics
We go to the Trinity Alps every Summer. I was just there this past July. We hung at Union Lake. Such a wonderful area!
Were there fish at Boulder Creek lake and any place to hang a few hammocks there?

Great looking trip thanks for the pictures I needed another desk top picture.
10 to 12 hours in a hammock is just about average for me too.
