Interest in whoopie slings and gear hammocks

I have a big roll of 7/64 Amsteel coming to me. I don't need all the rope, so what would the interest be in some whoopie slings? I could do 6' long with a fixed eye, 10" buries. Only color would be "black" (actually dark gray).

A pair would cost $12.75, I'd pay shipping anywhere CONUS. Might be an option for those of you out there that don't want to splice your own or don't want to order a lot of rope.

Last week I also sold some prototype "gear hammocks". Just small hammocks about 60" x 36" for storing gear off the ground on trips. I'd ask $15 for those, no ropes included. Using some heavier fabric and Amsteel whoopies I successfully used them as chairs, but I wouldn't market them or guarantee them for that purpose.

This is NOT the place to try to place an order. Go to http://nkoutdoorgear.webs.com/ to order. I'll sell them until I'm out of Amsteel and fabric.

    interested

I would be interested. My only question is could you put an idiot blocker in the sling to keep it through from being pulled through?

Yeah, I can stick a clear bead in the adjustable loop. That would be no trouble.

    Giveaway

All right, I made a bunch of whoopie slings and ridgelines, but since nobody seems interested in them I'm going to give a set of whoopies and an adjustable ridgeline away. Somebody might as well use them since they've been made. All are black 7/64 Amsteel Blue. Whoopies are 6' long, ridgeline adjustable from 90" to 120".

Just post here in the thread and I'll randomly draw post numbers at the end of the week (let's say Friday at 5:00 PM CDT). Please state your preference for the slings or ridgeline and I'll accommodate the request of the first person drawn. I'll pay shipping CONUS, people from Canada or overseas you're eligible as long as you're willing to pay shipping, customs, etc.

So that's one (1) pair of whoopie slings and one (1) ridgeline to be given away. One entry per user please! If you have questions, PM me.

I'd be interested in an adjustable ridge-line. I have a feeling I'll be giving some stuff away at some point too lol
