Did you guys do the whole trail in 6 days?

I've been thinking of doing this trail piecemeal, or doing it next summer, and taking 10-12 days to enjoy it (and because I'm slow).

The majority of the thru hikers do this in 2 weeks to allow for some really flooded areas! (And they are!!!) Some take 7 days. I think some psycho RAN it in 36 hours! This guy said it stopped being fun after 24 hours. We took pieces of it that provided a trail head for the car. Just to say we did, we carried all our food (6 days worth) to see how many days we could comfortably carry and not complain! We are sold on the trail. It's great! Just be advised you may not run into another person for days.
