Even for a heavy, well insulated feller, I simply don't care. If I can take a night off from the paper route, hang out in the woods, and listen to em sing thier nightlife melody, I'm there. I did a solo bid back in June for two nights, near 86 and muggy as all get out. I learned the trick though that made it feel like may at my favorite KOA in Boone, NC. I carried a couple of 2 liter bottles of water (less than 50 yds from the house) and thoroughly doused the entire hammock both nights. A real trick considering the water pours through it like a sieve. After climbing in I had the pleasure of 86 on top and what I believed to be 42 beneath. A very interesting sensation. I slept like I had been intered in the county morgue.
