Just got the New River UQ and tried it out last nite.

Just got it yesterday and its really super nice. Temp got down to 63 and it was vented and slept great..as a matter of fact,,didn't wake up till 7:40am this morning and I can't remember the last time I have slept past 6 am as I normally wake at 5 without a alarm clock..lol,,what a sleep last nite,,and this UQ fits like a glove so in warm weather needs to be vented as I was only covered partially with a 40 yr old poncho liner from the Nam days. Slept in tee shirt and shorts and like a log in a Skeeter Beater Pro hammock

Pics are in gallery as I didn't know how to upload them.

I want to thank all the members of this forum with their comments about all the gear available from all the suppliers on the forum as well as all the comments about pros and cons as this helped me make my decisions on buying a synthetic over down which will fit my life style perfectly as well as from Arrowhead who makes a really great product. I can see from its design,,it will take all of my abuse, wear, and tear I will give it for years to come. Way to go Paul on a really super nice product!

It's always great to hear about someone oversleeping in a hammock. Makes me think "mission accomplished."

knotty,,glad you liked and have a purpose for the pillow you purchased! Tonite we get to see how everything works in a storm/wind/rain..I live in a woods,,with a very small front yard (grass only) and my ridge peaks out at 990ft elevation here in Southern Indiana..for Indiana,,that is about as high as they get. I am lucky enough to test everything before I hit the mts. and always know what my limitations are/can be. It only pays to test. I have always been a ground pounder till this summer and converted to hammocking and really love it,,been wanting to do this for the past 3 yrs..so its great that the equipment is fantastically made,,and simple to use,,and with this forum even makes everything easier. Thanks to all,,and will enjoy another great nites sleep again!
