Video: Batsto to Lower Forge on the Botona Trail in NJ

I had a great 24 hours in the Pine Barrens yesterday into today. On the walk out, I decided to play with my iPhone and made a mini-trip-report using Videolicious, an iPhone app that edits a video for you. I did this in about three minutes while walking. It's far from perfect, but it was easy.

Sorry I couldn't make it this time but glad you made it out! You look REALLY different with the beard, I had to do a double-take

All from your iPhone? That's pretty amazing. Enjoyed the video report.

What happened to Kayak Karl and Maple? When'd you start sporting the beard? Wish I could have joined you.

It's a really cool app. You choose a theme/template, pick 3 or 4 pics and video, record a message, choose background music, and press create. It's amazing how it comes together. I need to play with it more i just tried the theme from the demo which is limited to 50 seconds. Kayak Karl was stuck with a group of kayak students. Started the beard end of June. Not sure how long it'll last.

The beginning of this summer my first true backpacking hang was near the Lower forge camp. I stealth camped along the Mullica River near the blue trail. Hung right next to the river and was in bliss! Then hiked out by Carranzza Memorial. Nice trail right. A bit over run in a few areas, especially north of the blue trail which was tick central. Pulled off 30 - 40+ that weekend.

    Still a lot of fun!
