Finally managed to opt out of that completely this year. Of course, it's a lot easier if you don't have kids of your own.

How about a tranquil paddle in a nice canoe down streams/rivers and through small lakes.
There should be plenty of possibilities for that in Sweden.

I think i finally found the Alpacka trip !

We go there by a steam ship , 3.5 hours.
Boat ticket = 27 usd
Nice lunch = 27 usd

The steam ship is 100 years old .

From Marifred we paddle for 2 days to a town called Gnesta, from here we take the train back to Stockholm.

Gnesta to Stockholm is 40min for 15 usd.

We can easily extend the paddling to more days/night.

I will look more into this and send you some more info soon.
