I think we're pretty much locked in on Mariefred this time, or at least the area around Stockholm. This way our international guests don't have to spend a day travelling to and a day travelling from the hang.

But if you have a route ready or an excellent spot in mind, let's hear it!

I probably can bring with me road bicycle if near planned camping spots are possible to go training because I must do this to not lose my power and I can do over 100 kilometres in day easily with messenger bag on my back.
Thats not a problem at all if something changes a bit but not so far from initial plan.

    Hey Guys,

Got room for one more to join? I'm not sure yet if I can get off at work but I'll try.
    Anyone else from Holland?

Great! I've been checking the time-schedules and I can book a flight to Skavsta airport on saturday and and a hotel in Stockholm city centre. I assume there will be a trainstation near the airport? Anybody familiar?

And wednesday is the same. Does anybody know if there is a train from Gnesta to Skavsta airport? Or a site where I can check that? Looking at the map the 14:30 train to Stockholm goes the wrong way for me. ;-)

Still waiting for the approval from work but it's looking good! Oh, and a friend of mine is thinking about coming as well. So maybe +2.

    Cool
Gonna check that train issue of yours.

    http://www.skavsta.se/en/content/2/33/by-rail.html

The local train station in Nyköping is 7 km away from the airport. Take a taxi for a fixed price (about SEK 200) or the local bus no. 515 or 715 for approximately SEK 20 to/from the train station.

    Tips on Swedish trains
Swedish trains are generally very comfortable. The standard is much higher than can be found in many other European countries.

Tickets can be bought at the trainstation, on the train or at the website below.

For those who are planning to travel any distance by train, visit this website: www.sj.se

Cheaper tickets can be purchased on certain departures offering great savings.
