Hahaha. Yah, it's pretty cool stuff but "Strung Out" is right. At almost $60/yd it's pretty expensive though I'd say this second gen WPB Cuben actually has a fabric-esk feel to it. I can also say that it's "WPB"-ness is amazing. I'm making fully seam taped rain mitt's with it and comparing one of my non-breathable seam taped CF prototypes to a preproduction mitt with WPB material there is simply no difference.

You can actually feel the difference in a matter of minutes. When you've got a seam taped piece of CF gear it's completely waterproof and gets sweaty in a matter of minutes, but with the new WPB material I can definitely say the breathability is there.

I just want to point out traftonm's topquilt and underquilt he's got posted on page 3. That is pretty sweet man. I think everyone will agree.

Would love to have some cuben-gear but just cannot afford it. If they lowered the price or gave away licenses such that other companies could produce CF they could spread their product much better... and every non-DIY-gear would be made out of CF!

It's still exotic because of the price.
