Welcome to the madness.
Welcome to the madness.
Welcome from another Michiganian. I have a son in Lansing, great town. Paddle and hang bunches on the Manistee river. Great state for hanging.

Definitely have the diy bug. I usually end up making anything im interested in. Im not sure if thats a product of limited resources, or just because i love creating things. So fun to have made it myself, and continually refine things...
Welcome aboard from Florida. Looks like your off to a good start.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
So here are a few photos from the second night of hanging.... First night was too disasterous to stop for photos!
Site pict. Me in the black shirt, brother in red:
side view of my tarp/hammock. Pitched it hard towards the prevailing winds/impending rain (never arrived the second night):

I partly asked for the photos to be taken so I could see how much to trim off my bug net. Should make some good material for snake-skins if I can figure out how to change it to long/skinny instead of cut off corners...
