Just cut the tip of your pinkie off, you don't really need it, and that will get you atleast a couple of days.

I like where your heads at...see you there! This reminds me to ask, does anyone know if the streams are hatchery supported/delayed harvest?

From what I can tell on the map (and I can't read a map) we are above the restricted area so fishing should be allowed and you should be able to keep what you catch.

i actually called DNR yesterday and was told by the local game law enforcement that we are well above the catch and release area. He said it's only a couple mile stretch right above 28 and that it is clearly posted in that area. we are in the clear. can't wait to cook some trout over an open fire (assuming i catch some)

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

If you're coming this early, I guess you didn't get the go ahead to bring the youngins.

I'll be there around 3:00 if all goes well.

Yeah, the weather was the trump card for us. In the 40's and they would be coming but low 30's makes momma a little hesistant. Couldn't argue too much since I still got the kitchen pass. Carrying a heavier than usual pack this time since it is a short hike. Planning to eat good in the Piney Woods.
