Surely, God could have made a better way to sleep.
Surely, God never did.
Welcome aboard from Florida, CindyK. Yeah, there's alot to learn but there are plenty here to help. Enjoy the fun!
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Welcome neighbor! I'm down in the southern part of the state. I love Harpers Ferry. Glad you're here but be warned, hammocking is addictive and if you get into DIY then it's Katie bar the door!!!
This is a GREAt place to get info. Check out Shug's videos for a lot of good info and some laughs. http://www.youtube.com/user/shugemery
Welcome to HF from Mass.
here is a link to a gathering of canoers and kayakers that takes place the second full weekend in October every year (October 7-8-9 this year).
Bring your kayak and appetite for a weekend of boating, eating and campfires. I will be there with at least two hammocks, and we can have as many as 50-75 folks show up with boats. ANd it is in your neck of the woods.

And we hope to see you at the MAHHA Fall hang at Gathland SP, just up the road. That's Oct. 14th-16th. Great opportunity to see and try lots of different setups and meet nice folks, too.
