    Good use for nylon straps.

I just got my MIL thread injector working and I have been making gear non-stop. It is kinda scary, because now I am looking for things around the house that I can sew together!

Well I found a good use for some old nylon tree-huggers; I made them into a dog-harness. I will post pictures later, but I have an Alaskan Malamute and he loves to pull when we run. I have tried several store-bought harnesses in the past, but he never liked them. This new one he walks like it isn't even there. The straps are long enough that the 'anchor-point' where they come together is past his tail, so he doesn't choke himself when he gets going.
    I ride a recumbent.
I like to HAM it up on the CW.
    I use Linux.
    I play go.
Of course I sleep in a hammock!

    Cool!

Brought a smiile to my face thinking about Northern breeds and pulling. Many years ago I made a harness for my Siberiam so she could pull me on XC skiis. Unfortunately she was prone to zigging off in the wrong direction at the most inopportune moments. Still, much fun!
