No prob. A good time was had by all.
North to south or south to north = fun, no matter which way. Since we live in N. Ga, we opted for the N to S route in case we got into a time crunch ... much easier to pick up on the skipped sections if they were on the southern end. It is just over two hours from home to the GSMNP.
They have "paved" the hike from the ranger station to the top since our last trip. Still a fun time.
We could not pass up the photo op. Should this be the Christmas card photo this year?
Thanks. Yeppers, everyone had a great time.
My wife calls me a goober because of me just being me, so I had to get the shot. They do grow up so fast, don't they.
Long hikes = tired kids. They all did great on each of the hikes. I think the two oldest are ready to tackle some over night hikes and if I carry minion #3's gear, she could probably handle the walks.
Thanks. I really can't complain. I may be a bit biased, but I think they are the best around.
My parents took me camping 4 or 5 times a year when I was growing up and have tried to do the same. You just can't beat memories like these.
Thanks. We did have a blast. It was a great way to end the summer before school started up.

You passed within 9 miles of my place at Mabry Mill. I love the BRP! We took a ride a couple of weeks ago from the house down to Blowing Rock for a day trip.
Thanks for sharing the pics.
