DIY Tarp w/ Doors Pattern

If anyone has a picture of the flat pattern for their cat-cut tarps with doors (Superfly), I'd like to see a pic or a quick sketch of how much material you allow for the doors. If anyone has a link to a thread, I haven't been able to find one. I'd also like a good idea of what angles the doors are cut at. Thanks ahead of time.

Just finished a cat cut tarp with doors 2 days ago. Here is a quick sketch:

Hope the sketch helps out a little. I did the arithmetics adjusted to the amount of fabrics I had left. All measurements are in centimeters.

I wanted to seal seams today and well, here's what happened...

trinni, that was a good test for your tarp! Too bad you didn't have time to seal the seams first, but I can't wait to see the tarp on a sunny day.

Mike, there'll be more weekends in autumn to test the tarp seam-sealed.

I really hated to have left the house too late. Would have loved to stay the night out there (had my backpack packed with all I needed).

I used a tape measure to work out the required dimensions when the tarp (3x3 m)was hung. I transferred it to paper to use as a pattern and pinned the paper to the 4 thicknesses of nylon to cut round. I gave the doors around 6" of overlap when the tarp was hung in an average pitch.

I used 0.9 finish weight uncoated parachute ripstop soaked in Nikwax TX direct, which has now been through 3 nights of 60-70mph winds with no sign of failure;plenty strong enough. They added 110g to the tarp.

I'm wondering how waterproof that soaked uncoated ripstop turned out. Just googled for Nikwax TX and understand it to be a spray-on waterproofing for already equipped rainproof clothing. Might be a nice alternative to soaking in diluted sanitary silicon if it also works in heavy rain conditions. Hm, makes me think about why not trying to spray on diluted silicon...

I'm a little confused. Turnerminator, are you saying that the doors did well in those winds or that there was also rain and the waterproofing did well in that situation. I know there is a long thread about various DIY sil-nylon attempts. Just asking.
