The foot line, when not in use, hangs down below my hammock and does not interfere with the operation of the zipper on any of my bug nets of various designs. YAY!

Hey, Randy! That's cool! I like the dual use gear hammock, too!

Thanks fellers. (man, I even woke up Scott and TJ)

As all things in Gargoyle land...Version 2 is out already. Fully adjustable. Left or right or center lay. Ridge line hammock/gear loft can move from one end to the other...bigger footrest area (which helps with stowing gear and my big clod-hoppers).

    Somebody stop me

Oh and its 1 oz for the whole thing....Its late and my head hurts so I'll do some pics another day.

    Looking very comfy

I just placed an order for one. Hope I get a "version 2". Thanks so much for your creativity!

I'll see what I can do for you guys.
Personally, I hate drinking (coffee or "other" beverages) while I'm lounging, I usually dribble and make a mess.

I'm thinking a platy bag filled with adult beverages so spills dont occur.

HB, you had something to do with this footrest creation.
