    South Carolina Hang Pre-Plan

Ok, theres been an influx of SC hangers, new and old alike.

I really want to get something to started as far as planning and get something going.

Id like to do this so new guys can learn and see what the old pros are using.

if theres something in the works, ill shut up.

If you have an idea for a short hike (not like that 7 day thing, holy crap...!) and hang.

so im in charleston. i know nothing of trails in the area. i know theres a national forest near by. not sure about that tho.

so whos up for it, when would you like to do it, and where? thanks!

I'm in Charleston too. I have car camped and boat camped some around here, but I have not explored Frances Marion national forest.

I think all camping should be in the mountains, but I don't always have the time or the energy to drive that far. so I have been trying to get some info on areas in the midlands. ( congaree national forest and palmetto trail at pomaria)

Depending on family, job etc. I could be interested.

    Murrells Inlet and I'm down.

Im planning a trip right now for around Lake Moultrie in early October. Here is the leg I was going to do. The plan is as of now. hit the trail head late friday hike the 2 miles to the first camp site. Saturday hike out to the trail spur and down to sandy beach camp site (8mi give or take). Then ten miles back to the car on sunday. This is just to get me back on the trail and have some fun. If anyone wants to join me I wont say no. Or if some one has a better idea I would re vamp my plans for something cooler.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.
