This thread generated a lot of activity!

I see there are tons of pillow opinions hehe.

I ordered a therm-a-rest stuffsack pillow thing from REI and will try it out in the lawn. If I like it, great. If not, I've got a neck pillow (heavy & filled with bean things but a good representation) from my girlfriend that I can give a shot.

I guess I'll just be experimenting and finding what works for me.

I've got a silk pillow case with some spare clothes inside.

    I got this from E-bay:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...E:L:OC:US:1123

Cost me $5.63 with free shipping. I find I only need a few puffs in it, but it feels luxurious to me. Bargain!

    Pillowsack

I have had one of these for about 5 years and love it. You can put just about anything in it, Usually extra cloths I have even used a Platypus 2+ bottle half inflated http://www.granitegearstore.com/Pillowsack-P80C51.aspx

I was using one of those until the seam that holds the drawstring wore out. I would put a Platypus about half full of water in it. Super comfy, cool in summer and in the fall/winter you can pour a couple cups of hot water into it to make a warm pillow.

I now use a Snoring Cub by AHE.

I've got the Snoring Cub pillow as well. I really like it. Not overly bulky but just enough support to make it more comfortable. I've tried the stuff sack before and didn't like it as well. I don't like laying on silnylon because it's too slippery and gets sweaty because it doesn't breathe.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm always on the lookout for a great deal and my cheap neck pillow got a hole last trip. This looked like it was worth a try.

I got a GT Adjustable Travel Pillow from REI Outlet about 2 months ago. Used it for 3 nights over Labor day weekend. IMHO, it blows away "clothes in a bag" any day of the year. It is however pretty large. (stuffed size is roughly equaly to my JRB Sierra Snivller) but it's just one of those luxury items I'm willing to pack.

Why, you ask? Because to me a good nights sleep makes all else tollerable. That's why, in part, I became a hammock hanger.
