When I bought my Western Mountaineering sleeping bag, I got a Cloudrest Pillow thrown into the deal. I had tried a couple of pillows before, but the Cloudrest has been the perfect hammock pillow for me ever since. It only weighs 5oz., it's very small and packs down even smaller, it's warm and ultra soft, and the size is perfect in the hammock. I use it for ground camping as well - in this case I use it on top of my pack to get more height.
After using a cheapo for while i brome down and got a med themorest down pillow from going gear. Man this thing is Sweeeeeet!

I just picked up a insulated seat at wallyworld that works perfect as a hammock pillow. It is made by Remington and was only $3. It does compress down pretty small and is 5 1/2 oz .
I am going back today to pick up a couple more.
