Maybe thats part of it. I have been pulling the ends pretty tight assuming that my weight would span it back out. Ill give that a try. We are going to get some cooler weather this weekend and I hope to get another trial in. I have a darn bathroom torn up or I would go hit the woods.

Im glad no one is laughing as I know this is ground that many have covered. For us noobs it all new. LOL

    Nicely done.

I am working up courage to do a DIY similar to this. I needs an UQ and am broke!
Well if your eyes were a little closer to the finished product you would not be so kind with your words.

Here is the thing I had to do. First I had to snatch 3 hairs out of my chest and learn to call it thread injecting before I could start. Next I sewed a simple stuff sack if there is such a project. Then I just went and bought the PL and started. Cool thing about thread is if you mess it up you can cut it back off and do it again.

failure is sometimes the first step to success.

That looks great! Did you just fold the quilt over double? And where'd you get your shock cord for .15c a foot?
