7 day Boundary Waters Canoe Adventure

Well, finally got the video put together, and some pix etc.
On the way up to the BWCA stopped in Munising Mi to run a trail Marathon. It was my first marathon so was a big accomplishment for me. After the marathon proceeded to Boundary Waters and got our permits and canoe in Tofte. Put in at Sawbill Lake. EP 38 and went up to Cherokee Lk. then through Sitka Lk. to N. Temperance. Stayed at N. Temperance, then through S. Temperance, Wierd, Jack, and stayed on Kelly. From Kelly, went through Burnt and Smoke lakes back to Sawbill. It was really a great trip, covered a lot of ground (for us anyway) and it was over too soon.
We decided to drive home by taking the scenic route through Canada along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Pretty country up there. So here's some pix and the video.

    Good luck,

looks like a really cool trip.... brought back memories of the trip I did with the scouts back in the 90's... I believe we started out in Ely Minn.

Very nice report. This brings back memories for me. Took a very similar route last fall from sawbill and it was a great area to explore.

Congrats on your first marathon, way to go! Awesome pictures and video. The Boundary waters look very similar to Algonquin Provincial Park here in Ontario.
