Oh yes indeed! Let's do it right after I invent my portable ridgeline A/C unit, or it turns cooler, whichever occurs first!

    Where?
The advantage of having it at Buck Lake again is that at least 50 of us know how to get there. Also, it did turn out to be a great place with the large open area and the lake. The downside is that it may be considered boring to go to the same place agan.

    When?
Around the same time as last year would perhaps attract more of our northern family (round up some more hangers ldcakes)! That would also get us Florida hangers ouside in the coolest weather, which we don't get often. The only downside is that it's so far away. But, we can schedule group hikes between now and then.

    Who?
Eveybody from last year and then some!!!

Yeah, By the time the weather up here starts to freeze our nostrils, I'm sure a few more will be aching to go to Florida for some Sun Therapy!

I have been waiting patiently for you guys to post this event Trying to put together a small posse from SC to come and visit our hangin' compadres in the Sunshine State . Right now we have talked about the event but have been waiting to hear the final details as they develop.

Gumbo & I are in! (you probably already guessed that...)

Where? Is Buck Lake going to be big enough? As I remember we were at capacity last year. And once people see last year's trip report, everybody will want to come! Ocala Nat'l Forest does seem pretty central and not so far south that it would become hard for our snowbound buds to come too.

When? MLK weekend would be a good idea - IMHO.

Thanks Flackfizer for getting this party started!!

Good point about the capacity of the Buck Lake site.
Yeah, we're going to need a bigger place

I am so looking forward to meeting you Muskrat! I'll confess that I've followed a few of your trips and hope to one day make it up there for one.
