Not sure if this has been discussed, I think I saw an article over on BPL a while back about different machines. But for the things we do like our gear. In your opinion, is this a good machine. Cost is $80 and it comes in a cabinet.
thanks

I'm not the expert, but looking online I see that they sell on eBay for between $50 to $350 depending on what they come with and their condition.
Your model is newer than my old singer, but looks like it's equal to or better.
I'm betting that's plenty machine for your needs.
Warbonnet Blackbird 1.7DL Green
Switchback (w/Netting) 1.9DL Green
Grizzbridge (aka The Loaner)
Grand Trunk - Deep Blue
Trek Light in Olive
Backwoods Daydreamer Winter Tarp - Red
DIY "Deluxe" in Olive
Warbonnet Superfly in Olive
Thank you sir
I'd agree with what Lonely Raven said; plenty of machine for your money.....and its a Singer. Parts are easy to find and most dealers will service them if you don't fancy doing it yourself.
Jump on it!!
Looks good, you will find this interesting if you have not found it yet:

Most everything that a hammock requires (straps, hammock, tarp, binding, tie-outs) can be done with a straight stitch.....so if it works good then it should be ok....all the extra stitches are 'usually' for garment making...however a zigzag stitch also comes in handy often.....$80 is a great price if it works and comes with a table...just make sure it works before you buy
My memory's not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
Wish I had never gotten rid of my 1961 Singer, hope to find another one some day.
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.
