    Talking Hello from Nebraska

    Hi all,

I thought I should say hello and a big thanks for the amazing information on this site.

My son and I have been hammock camping for about a year now in our Hennessy Hammocks. We both have expedition asyms with zippers and oversized hex rainfly's, snake skins and use the rappel ring mod for quick hanging.

We truly love camping this way and get so many strange looks from everyone we meet along the way. Last time out with the church group everyone had to try it out it was kind of funny to watch people acting like they had never seen a hammock before. Here in the flatlands our most difficult thing is finding two trees close enough together that will work. We have enough trees but they are huge and make getting two close enough a challenge at least sometimes.

hey from high point nc and welcome to Hammock Forums.
the kind folks here are among the most knowledgeable in the hammock world.
i'm not one of those knowledgeable people so this site is a good reference library for me.

    welcome from arkansas.

worst pheasant hunt in my life was in your state. a reservation about an hour north of omaha. january; a foot of snow capped with 2 inches of ice. not fun.

    but i digress.....

    welcome.

    Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for the greetings. Been hanging around the edges lurking for a couple years and decided I needed to join.

Been enjoying all the great info and can't wait to get out hanging again though I may have to wait for ragweed season to taper off a bit WOW is it bad this year.
