Last minute problems have arisen and unfortunately I cannot come - though I have planned for months to be there. I am really upset, because I was looking forward to this - but family must come first.

There's always next year. And we seem to be having more and more "regional" hangs here in the Sunshine State. Sure hope your family problems work out for the best.

Sorry to hear that Ted, no worries though, we'll see you at one of the other hangs. But if you can get away, even just for a day, we would love to see ya. Take care of that family of yours!

I haven't been here I am while so I figured I'd chime in. I have a truck and step ladder. I'd be happy to take the group photo again. Or not. I'm easy.

Also just to let everyone know I broke in my DO this weekend at Alexander Springs. Made some peach cobbler, mountain man breakfast, beef stew, strawberry/blueberry cobbler and even flipped the lid to make banana pancakes this morning.

I love my dutch oven!

If you own a dutch oven please bring it to the hang. I'm sure it will get use!

I didn't make the trek down past the gate to Buck Lake.

Timberrr and Islander did though. Perhaps one of them will provide a situational report soon.

I think they made the short hike to make up for all they ate this weekend.
