By starting it he means I bought the chicken, onions, bell peppers, celery and sausage and did some chopping prep before hitting the deep freeze until the hang.
I bought enough to make 6 gallons of gumbo. That's a little over 2x what we had last year.
I also bought some mixed berries to make some a couple of cobblers too.

I enjoy the excitement on the planning threads as we get closer & closer to the weekend hang. Seems to be a snow-ball effect going faster & faster.
