I had planned to arrive on Thursday (today, actually), to join the hike to Wise, but work has changed my plans. I will be at the group site on Friday. See you there!

Dutch: I thought the plan was to meet at the campground then hike to Wise, but I don't remember anyone setting a time to meet at the campground. I was planning to drop some gear at the group site, then hike to Wise, since I did not know what time I would get to the park.

To all: Has anyone set up a rendezvous at the group site for the Wise hike?

Negative. The group hang is going to be at the campground. There are a few of us headed up to Wise Shelter for tonight ONLY, but will be hiking back down tomorrow for the remainder of the hang to stay with the group. If you're arriving tomorrow, plan to stay with the group at the campground.

Thanks Slowhike, heck I'm just glad I feel like I'm on the trail to recovery!

Hopefully more hangs in the near future!

I don't know that I'm going to make this hang, the weather report for when I'd be leaving is not very good.

    I had a blast guys.
Thanks to all those who put in the time to make it happen.

Also, had a nice hike back to car, though not as many on the trail as I would have guessed

I'm back and drying out. It was as foggy in Cinci as it was leaving the campground, but the drive was great.

I'm so glad I went...awesome to see old friends and to make new ones. THAT is the reason to go to this hang. Weather and scenery will always be available, but the time for fellowship is fleeting. Great fire, wonderful potluck, and terrific raffle. Gorgeous hiking and warm hanging (though not necessarily dry ). Hope everyone gets/got home safe.

I'll work on putting together a video, but may need some time.... ops:

Here's looking forward to next year!

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
