My son Zane and I will be there! Had a blast last year even if I was the only one one in a tent. Woke up a lot only to hear those in hammocks near me snoring. Then I remembered the reason Shug gave for sleeping in a hammock,"consistency of sleep". Ok I'm converted. No more ground dwelling for meThanks everone!

Cool, so far 26 signed up, seems like there will be a good crowd there.
And I've heard privately of a few more 'Maybes" so there should be enough to at least help carry firewood.
I still have the tickets for the raffle, so I ask again, if there is anyone in the area or passing thru, who can meet me & take them to the hangout, that would be great! OR, someone I could mail them too who is for sure going, that would be good too.
As of a few minutes ago, the temps at Grayson highlands were above freezing, so no snow, yet. I wish for at least 8" for you all to enjoy, & no more than a high of 20. May the temps get to at least near zero Saturday night!!!

Final plans are in plans gang. Privy is ordered & will be delivered around Thursday PM. The staff knows the "Crazy hammockers" are coming. & Marci sent me the following:

No one in the group needs to pay parking fees. We will just include the people going to Wise Shelter in with the Group Site users for Thursday night. <
So for those arriving early, you are covered.
A reminder to all attending; the above fees AND the privy are paid for by the raffle on Saturday. So (honestly don't know where I'm going with this,,,,, Oh yeaIf, as of last count, all 25 show up, the park fees are only costing us about $6.26 per person. So a cheap weekend by my count. Plus the privy rental, if everyone buys one raffle ticket, we are set. Plus you get the chance to get some GREAT gear, and this raffle is way fun, even if you don't win anything.
