I'm pretty cheap so the price is sticking point, but the craftsmenship makes it worth it. The next problem is the weight. At 2 pounds it only goes down to 30 degrees. But Ed's temp ratings are suppose to be conservative. Who am I kidding...It's the price. I'll have to keep an eye out for the next sale.

Having slept in a SnugFit a few nights and being a cold sleeper, I can honestly say that Ed's temperature ratings are very conservative. The SnugFit is good to at least 20* if you ask me.

the pea pod i have is one of the early versions (550 down, sewn through construction), but it's proved it's worth.
after using it, i can be sure that one of the current models would be wonderful.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

    Thumbs up

It's here! I just got my SnugFit! It's out of the box and I've already hugged it twice just to show it how glad I am to have it. Now I just need to get to Hot Springs to put it to good use. See y'all there!

Congrats Hooch. As always, fast shipping from Speer...

Thanks, HC. One of the reasons that I order from Ed other than his products is that his customer service is absolutely top notch, second to none and always fast shipping.

Thumbs up New SnugFit trial run

    Yeeehaaa!
I just got my newSnugFit the other day and gave it a test run in the backyard last night. This thing is awsome! It only got down to about 54 last night and I was toasty warm and cozy, did not even need my bag on top for most of the night. The SF is as beautiful as it is functional and the quality and workmanship is equally stellar. Setup was a snapp... er, (clip) and I had no problems with fitting my HHULB. There was a moderate breeze thru-out the night and I had no noticible cold spots or billowing of the UQ. I hope to field test soon and hopfully be able to test in cooler conditions before the heat and humidity set in. I am so glad that I saved my pennies and waited to get this outstanding piece of equipment! BIG thumbs up!

Hey Bison, if you want a field test, come to the Hot Springs hang next weekend. I'm leaving Lexington after my son gets out of school on Friday around 3pm. You're welcome to ride with us if you like. My SnugFit has had one night on the back porch testing, but I'm totally ready for a field test as well.
