I swapped out all the old suspension on my hammocks for Arrowhead straps and rings and I like the ease and speed of setup but, ether the straps have some stretch that I was not figuring on or the trees I am using, and some of them are BIG, are moving closer together as I sleep. I always tie a safety to prevent the webbing from slipping in the rings but I never find my self with the same lay I went to sleep with. Is there anyone out there that has also run into these sneaky trees out there and if so can you tell me how can I spot them quickly and easily avoid them. Or should I be looking at the straps as the culprits?
