I haven't tried it but I understand from the following thread that the hammock is rubbish but the stand is a good deal at $40.

So many trees, so little time...
Harbor Freight sells a cheaper looking model as well. It's on sale right now for $29.97 plus you can apply the discount code DISC20 and get and extra 20% off making it $23.98

Whoa, cool! You could strap one of these babies on your pack when you're trekking through the Mohave Desert and still enjoy your hammock!

JaxHiker, Yes you can! I picked one of these up at my local HF on my way home today with a 20% off coupon I printed out. No problem using a coupon on a sale item at all. Before I replied with the first post I added the hammock to my cart and then applied the coupon.
As for the HF Hammock and stand, it is of typical HF quality. I was hoping to use it with my ENO doublenest but it is no where near long enough. The spreader hammock isn't horrible and for $24 I will probably keep it and either make a smaller hammock or just use the one that came with it.
Sweet! I need to check the specs on my son's Scout. That would let us hang together since we don't have any more trees in the yard.
