By the way, has anyone ever told you you look like Hurley?

Picture Hurley in his 50's, longer hair and never touching a razor, that would be me.

Shugs video's are how I found HF. Luckily I drink my coffee black, no sugar, or he's owe me a new monitor. I have a few of his video's open in tabs in my browser to refer back to

    Welcome
    Kayak, Maple & Kaia

Thanks for the welcome, and the offer, Karl. I have family coming for the weekend, but would love to take a rain check on the offer.

I think I've narrowed down my hammock/tarp choice, unfortunately they are from two different vendors, I'll save that for a thread in the proper sub.

Went digging in the attic and found my backpack, a coleman peak 1, and inside a peak 1 stove. Shaking the stove sounded like there was still fuel in it. I took it outside, put a match to it, and it wanted to light. Took four tries, but it finally stayed lit. I think the pressure in the tank was too high and it was blowing the matches out. It burned for about 15 minutes before slowly dying out. Not too bad for a stove that was packed away for almost 30 years.

Here's a pic I found on the net of the same pack and stove.
