Noob from Jersey

Hi all. Just getting back into backpacking/camping after an almost 30 year hiatus. Most of the gear I had is long gone, past on to friends or relatives, which is just as well, as things have changed since the 80's.

I started reading through a lot of old threads here, and I will apologize in advance for any threads I may rez.
