I'm another that doesn't really favor the MSH. I know a lot of people use it successfully, but I've never been able to convince myself to trust it.
I'm very interested in what you've got going on, Dutch.

If your lucky enough to be outdoors, your lucky enough!
yea the safty of the MSH is what worried me ALOT. and thankfully ive only had to use it a couple times. another thing i didnt like about it above the chance of the toggle failing or the whoopie falling off and breaking the toggle is what the knot did to your straps since i was tying it in the same place over and over it kept crinkling my webbing up "this probably isnt causing a problem but was still troubling"
OMG, He finally did it! The anti-gravi-Ti whoopie hanger! I bet his delay is in finding a supplier for impossibilium.
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

Count me in the "not fond of MSH" category. Correct placement is always a place to screw up. I translate "around the knot not the toggle" to "strong toggle". ;-)
I don't mind the MSH. Easy and weightless: has a lot going for it. Its only rare drawback is that a whoopie loop can slip off of it when you are setting it up. Even then, there are a number of ways to prevent this.
So, contrary to many of those enthusiastically responding to this thread, I would say there is no crying need for a new device to replace the MSH. However, I probably said that about Whoopies when they were first introduced but soon changed my mind as some will remember.
So nothing ventured nothing gained.

Caught my interest. Probably won't give up on the MSH... but I do like Dutch's gear...
Any projected release date?
I can neither confirm nor deny if I have a Top Secret Hammock Testing Facility in my back yard here in Sector 13 as it might compromise my security clearance but I will be happy to test any new gear.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
Actually - I am also curious of a release date - about to order some other Dutch goodies but don't wanna pay double shipping if a new toy comes out next week.
Support: HammockGear - Zpacks - Jacks R Better - DreamHammock - Dutchware - AHE - Black Rock - Grand Trunk
So, what is it?
