    WTB: Al Bottle style stoves

I'm looking to buy a MBD bios, whitebox, or similar stoves. Willing to pay $10-20 depending on condition. Also would like a bud light or similar Al bottle as an alternative.

hey if your looking for a bottle stove i make some mostly the venom stove which requires a wider pot but if you got one will boil 2 cups of watter in a lil over 3 min ive got 3 but since i got a smaller pot i droped down to a diy trangia which does is in about 4.5 min but eazyer on fuel and will burn longer. the venom stove is cool cause you dont need a stand you just put your pot on top of it. let me know if your interested.

Hey. I have a venom stove. Im looking for one made from the narrower Budweiser bottle or a bottle so I can make my own. I was going to order one from MBD but figured I would check here first.

Interested in the DIY triangia stove have pics or a link?

yea here is some pics im gonna try to do a video if i do ill let you know or post it on here somewhere maybe there are others that might want one cause they really are an awsome stove. its the one i use when i camp.
this stove has been used MANY MANY times more than i can count hince the way it looks but when i make them they look shiny and new but i do always fire them up once just to test them. also the cap is used to shut the stove off but it is not fuel tight. that is the only thing that the trangia has over this also the trangia is bigger so mine is more compact.

I've got a white box solo model that's collecting dust. I just love my little Pocket Rocket too much and have a couple of other alcohol stoves as backups. The scouts can't use alcohol stoves so I can't even pass it down to my kids for the moment. PM me if you're interested.

Looks like a great clone of the trangia. I'm not sure if im sold on the open burner design. How fuel efficient is it to boil 2cups of water?

Stovemandan how long does the fuel last in that thing? It is a thing of beauty and I must have one.
Look up before you hook up!!

the trangia clone takes about 1/2 to 3/4 of an oz to boil 2 cups of water depending on temp of the water and outside temp. when i use it inside to make lunch using cold water from tap and about 70deg. inside i normally use 3/4 of an oz but i dont just bring it to boil i bring the water to boil put in the pasta or rice then bring it back up to boil then add the powder mix stir it up as it boils. put a lid on it and but it in my cosy to finish cooking and most of the time i have a cup that i use for my hot chocolate and with about 3cups of water in it "tap cold" i can bring it to hot "not boil " to make my hot chocolate. so it will boil in my house with 1/2 oz but it will only bring it to a boil "a good boil" but i use 3/4 oz to cook and thoes measurements includes spilling a little in the flash pan/crease. now i am using a thin pot and the only thing that might work better is a fosterpot or such. now i also bake with it and it will hold over 2 oz and burn for over 20 min with it.
