    welcome to the madness.

While I have an ENO DN, I preferr my BB for overnights. The ENO I use on day hikes for when I need to take a break on the hike.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Thanks for all the feed back. I'll be sure to look up all these options. I had never heard of the chrysalis before, looks interesting. too bad that there are no good outdoor stores in the north ala area, i love to be able to walk into a store and check out some new gear...

?? No good outdoor stores? Alabama outdoors is in Huntsville too.
I have basically the same setup you have, except I have changed out the stock suspension for all in one whoopieslings and have a structural ridgeline. I use a AHE Jarbridge underquilt for warmth.

My son uses a ENO SN with a Kelty Noah's 9 tarp and an AHE Jarbridge quilt too.

I just bought another ENO doublenest.

Check out the Hang we are having at Cheaha on the 21-23 of this month.

i have been to Alabama Outdoors, and they are ok, most of the stuff they sell is clothes. I have been looking for a camp stove for some time now, and went there and they only carry one type of stove. same with other stuff i have been looking for. idk, i would just like to have a store in town ( or at least close ) that carried a little more for the hike/camper. Maybe there is just not enough interest in our area...

Wow, our AO in Mobile carries 5 different MSR stoves and three different Jet boils and parts and canisters for each of them. Sound like your AO isn't that hot. I know the one in Homewood carries HH and ENO. The one in Mobile only carries ENO but they will get me a an HH if I say go.
Our Academy sports has a lot of backpacking stuff too. They have many of the MSR stoves and several Jetboils too.
I wish you luck on finding your backpacking gear store. I find I would rather buy online as most stores will have a limited selection when there is a plethora of gear out there.

Welcome aboard..Last time I was at gander Mountain on North parkway they had 7 or 8 different kinds of stoves. Also the store at bridge street (cant rember the name) has a good selection as well , or they did a week ago.. I personally had rather ruse my blue-mini alcohol stove, or my favorite mini atomic..both of these serve the purpose on the trail..
you cant get no beanie weenies out past the great un-known....Mojo Nixon
