Gonna have some of this tomorrow

Maligne Lake, Jasper Alberta. 4 night kayak & hang. Was down there early June when I took this pic. Ice had just come of the lake. Going with a buddy this time, his first real kayak trip and first real hang. Campsite is 22km or 13 miles down lake, only accessible from the water. Weather is to be high's of near 30c, lows of 5c...just perfect. Not much of a fisherman but gonna try and get some trout.

    I miss the Rockies

    Jealous
When it seems like the night will last forever
And there's nothing left to do but count the years
When the strings of my heart start to sever
And stones fall from my eyes instead of tears
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And dream me a dream of my own

Wow, that is beautiful. Only thing missing is a hammock in the distance

You just set my new desktop background! Wish I could be there.
