Well it looks like I should be able to make the hang. I got an Email from Mule yesterday and I figured I would pop on here to see what was going on. Good thing next weekend just opened up for me so I shouldn't have any issues with wife or work aggro. Are the GPS coords still the same, Jerry? I should be able to get off work around 4-5 and I have about a 2 hour drive to the parking area. Can't wait to see some familiar faces and meet some new hangers.

How many pairs of underwear do you own? Do you refer to them as "extras", simply because you're not wearing all of them as we speak?

Yes everything is the same.....when do you plan on arriving....

Mule and I discussed if anyone comes in late, or after dark, we can hike out to get them.....

I'm hoping to get to the parking lot around 7 at the latest. It should still be light enough when I get there to find my way to camp. Is there decent cell reception out there?

Jerry says there is ample cell coverage. It'll be cool seeing you again.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

Best Buy has some. I have bought one for my iPhone there that uses AA batteries.

Thanks for the yellow ribbons. I still plan to park at the horse camp and hike into the ruins. Heading back east from the ruins is an old trail the follows the hollow back to the present day trail and back up the ridge to the main trail to the fire tower. Will the campsite be up the ridge from the ruins iron the hollow I just mentioned. I will be coming in Thursday afternoon I will eventually find it as I know the cemetary, ruins and the big pond campsites. Thanks Bluejeans
What time are you planning to start on thursday? I like the idea.

I don't have a time yet. I live in Muncie so it is a good 3 hour drive. I will get back to you with better info.

If you park at the Hickory Ridge Lookout Tower you can follow the trail highlighted in bright green. The trail from Terril cemetary to the Ruins is more a light bushwack on the top of the ridge.

From my GPS the coordinates for the ruins are:

    N 39.04954°
    W 86.33527°
