    NO NONO NO NO NONO

Please dont feel like that...you will find that all of us are pretty easy to get a long with....

As Mule said, love your idea.....

How big is the stew Pot......

    What about Stone Soup????

Ok...for those who have never heard of it......it's an old kids story I read way back....

Someone bring a pot.....and everyone ese brings something to throw in it...

Veggies are easy to carry, and good in a stew......I can bring the chicken, and some rice.....

lets see.......a nice red wine goes well with stew right?

I LOVE the idea of Stone soup.
Beef or Chicken? Or does it matter?

I'll bring Onions. LOTS of Onions.

I love that Red/Green show, too.

It's about 3Gal, the stew pot. I was planning to bring veggies too...

I was thinking I'd bring carrots, celery, shallots (in place of onion & garlic), peas, quinoa (instead of rice; if I can find it - Bloomingfoods may have it.),and chicken stock. Throw in a little sea salt and fresh ground pepper corns; Voila!

OK, I got the Onions, likely will bring the whole bag. Yum!

BTW, I hear onions keep the ghosts away,,,,, Or attract them, , , I can't remember anymore. ANYWAY, I know for a fact that the onions affect ghosts,,,,, somehow.

skyline, I may hike out and hike back in with you if you want. I don't think they have made up their mind exactly where they are staying, but if it is the ruins, that may be a little hard to find at night, even for someone who just came from there. I know that from Terrell Cemetery you find the trail on the West side of the fence, on the South West corner I think, but after hiking for half to one hour or so going West, I have always had to vere of to the North to find the ruins. The trail was non existent in some places as you get closer to the reservoir. Perhaps someone could mark the trail for us like I did for the first Hoosier Hang.

Skyline, Mule....we are staying in the Ruins ( area ) there are 9 votes..

I took a little stroll down there, and reviewed the area very well......I believe ( and i am NOT the final say ) West of the cematery 3 or 4 hundred yards are several good spots to hang......after reviewing the thread here it appears there will be about 14 showing up. this area could hold 20 to 25 very easily...BUT the down side.....lack of water in the area.....will have to walk several hundred yards to the lake or the small stream.....Or possibly the pond...

The area next to the ruins is nice, but very little level areas for sitting and relaxing.....

    ohhhhhh almost forgot....

Read a story last week about the cematery......story has it, there is a family buried there, 5 of the children are buried in the same small area. from time to time, hikers can hear children playing, crying, and laughing when near the area. It is also said there is a woman in a light green dress seen from time to time calling out names as if looking for her children. Once, according to the story, this woman walked up to 3 hikers camping in the area and asked if they had seen them.....the hikers appearently helped her look, and when the got to the cematery, they heard laughter....when they turned to speak with the woman....she was gone....

On another note...they are calling for flurries this coming Thursday....and highs in the the 40's next weekend......Looks like its gonna be a good time..

My Weather channel app is saying highs in the mid 50's & lows in the mid 30's. Of course this is Indiana and that can change tomorrow.

My girlfriend has decided she wants to join us. So, I'm still bringing a +1, but no ground dwellers. She is going to attempt to sleep in the WB Traveler I bought for her. I'm going to attempt to pitch a 12x16 tarp like a "Honeymoon Suite". Since this is something I have not practiced and may not get a chance to between now and then it should be interesting.
