Ok, so I've looked at all the posts/videos and made a few sets..All was well or so I thought.
I tried last night to make another set out of 7/64 Amsteel. I can make the locked brummel easy enough but I had a hell of a time with the whoopie bury. I could not for the life of me get the line through the bury section. I tried using thin wire, a ballpoint pen insert and anything else I could find around the house. I have a fid but it is too thick. I tried to find a thinner fid on line but he thinest I could find was 1/4"
What kind of professional tools have you used to help with this? I plan to work with Amsteel 7/64 and up in thickness as well as trying to make some dynaglide whoopies. Links to specific makes and models would be helpful and appreciated.
Thanks,
~S~
