I've tried the DriDucks rain suit, the pants fell apart on the first branch I snagged. The jacket fell apart on the second branch I snagged.

The old JRB weather shields were made from microporus polypropolene, the same stuff Frogg Toggs and Dri Ducks are made from. If this poncho is large enough it would make a great weather guard for a hammock. I ordered one.

I have some Drop Stopper rain suit that I have used for a long time. They are fragile but repair easily with duct tape. I have used mine for a long time and they are still tear free. You can't bushwack with the rain gear but it's fine for the trail.

Indeed. But, with all the talk of how it looks, we deserve to see pics of what the poncho+sniveler combo looks like.

(This second one I'm kinda glad he's not standing on a box with wires coming off his finger tips.)

I love my son! While I was taking his picture his only comment . . . “If you weren’t such a good mom . . .”
I couldn’t agree more. Lol. Both poncho pictures taken with No Sniv underneath.

(How come my pictures never show up in the post? I do the insert image thing?)

Any else see a resemblance? I think it's clear.

BTW, I have the same problem getting pics into my posts, that's why I use thumbnails.
