Interesting. But I can't help but think I would to often want the greater versatility of a top quilt that can be snapped around the back of the neck when wanted or left open & even pushed down when less insulation is needed.

I change sleep positions a good deal during the night ... back side back others side repeat. Don't believe this product would work for me.

using with an UQ instead of a pad, i would think you would have more room in the bag to move around a lot easier. i like sleeping on my side in the hammock and think would be do able.

i have a pretty good 40 degree TQ but would like to get something better for the cooler temps which are fast approaching. i think to vent it would be easy to take the bag off the upper portion of your body and drape it over you as needed.

found it on sale so ill let you guys know how it works out!

I can certainly see positives as well as possible negs. We'll be interested to hear your report after spending some time with it.

Does anyone else find it odd that bag and pad makers seem to think everyone sleeps like a statue on their backs all night long?

    It appears to me that

the Thermorest design is not as adjustable as a traditional hammock TQ. No adjustable (snap) footbox. No openable shoulder closure. And as already noted, not efficient for movement.
