What Would You Do with TWO HHs?

At the REI Attic Sale today the boyfriend (yes, the very same thieving one) found a barely used Hennessy Backpacker Hammock for $15.00. No rainfly, no straps, just the hammock. The tag read - and I quote - "Looks pretty OK". I'd say it was a great deal...

However, this now means the boy has two identical Hennessy hammocks. I asked him "You already have that hammock, what are you going to do with the second one?" His response: "Spare parts?"

So I ask the Peanut Gallery: What would YOU do with a second identical hammock?

SlimJim, right on! When/If he comes to his senses and decides he really only needs one, I'll know just the place for him to sell it!

Send one or both of them to 2QZQ. You'll have 2 entirely different hammocks afterward

Loan it to friends, let your kids use it. Let your wife try it out.

I have about 7 here at the house. My wife and kids all have one, so that leaves me a couple for loaners and a couple for other reasons.

Original (non-asym) ultralight - my second HH, the first was the original model from 2000. I swapped for this one to Tom Hennessy. It is now my lightweight loaner.
Cammo Ultralight - very rare one, never going to part with this one.
Hyperlight - converted to WS. It will probably become my youngest son's hammock when he gets bigger.
Ultralight in coyote brown (my oldest son uses this one) it is the one I lived in for 6 months on my first tour to Iraq.
Adventure Racer (my youngest son uses this one for now)
Deep Jungle (my wife has that one)
Desert Hammock - heavyweight loaner.

I did have another HH that was one of the heavier models for a loaner, it died because the person I loaned it to screwed it up. I salvaged some parts off of it.

I agree with Sgt Rock... use it as a loaner. I find it is easier to get friends to go if you have stuff they can use already. And of course, if you keep it to use as a loaner, it is pretty much an emergency item for you as well. In case something were to happen to your main hammock.
