I'm 6'0" 285lbs and old. Starting backpacking with my 2year old son in a duieter child carrier. My son will be hanging with me and likes to flop around while sleeping.
I don't like the henessy and need to sleep on my side so I need a hammock that allows laying on the diagonal.
I'd like to buy once and not worry about the hammock dropping us on the ground. I can spend a bit for the comfort, but need to narrow down the options based On my size and hot nature.

Welcome aboard Onenite. Can't be of much help haven't slept with a 2 year old in a looonng time. Someone will be along who may be able to help you.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
As I remember it, a king size bed wasn't big enough for me to sleep with the 2 year and get anything resembling real sleep.

Clark is the brand I have been considering, but once I heard about this site I figured there may be other features that Clark doesn't offer?
Sounds like you need a BB for yourself and a hammock for your son.
