I have a Hennesy hammock & tarp. I plan to use the hennesy tarp for a while but want to attach it to trees. I was looking at Arrowhead's ridgeline kits but am not sure if the single or double would be better for the hennesy tarp.

I bought the double line kit. It works fine, easy to setup around the trees. The only minus is that the prusiks on the thin cord can get "locked" after having been under tension and you have to loosen them up manually. But I guess it's something that's hard to avoid with thin cord.
I keep them fastened to the tarp with the lines at maximum lenght at the top of the stuff sack.
Thanks Oskar. And you use them with the Hennesy tarp?
I would go with the single. You can always make it into a double if you want to. You cannot go the other way without buying more line.
Your question is really philosophical. Folks here use both and can argue the merits of both.
What HH tarp to you own. The HEX or the ASYM. When I used my asym tarp I use a single line because that tarp has a bit of sag in the center and the single line under the tarp takes that out. Just what I liked to use YMMV.
Functionally either will work on any tarp. The main advantage of the single is it can offer greater support for a bigger tarp/higher winds/greater snow load. Beyond that function is similar and either will do most folks.

I bought it used but believe that it is the Asym. At least the tarp is in fact asymmetrical like my hammock. i.e. side guy lines are offset from each other.
I was reading other threads that stated sil-nylon didn't need a ridge line so I ordered the 2 piece. I guess I can add to it later if needed. After a while I will probably replace the hen. tarp anyways.
Thanks for the replys
