Michigan fall/winter hang????

I'm open that weekend. With this talk of shoes and such is this a backpack trip or car camp?

Car camping is my understanding, day hike with shoes, back to camp at night...

We have had two weekends suggested. Feb 17th, and Feb 24th.
We have had only one locaton suggested: Ludington State Park

There has been plenty of discussion, just no decisions.
