Smile ViDEO: Superior Shuffle 2 Night Scamper...PART 1

Finally....after a long summer of work and the road I got out on the Superior Hiking Trail for a fairly laid-back two nighter. Had my hammock rig and all my gear and some tasty vittles.
Felt good to be in the backwood hood)))))
Thanks to Babelfish5 for some mighty fine and scrumptious BBQ Sketti.....

Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

Looks like a good time. How are those sections? Passable for an 8-9 year old?

They would be very good. Easy terrain and a good fun walk.

    Skinny Trees

The skinny aspen trees are probably the result of a fire or clear cut for they need an open area in order to establish for they do not do well under a canopy. They can get their start from the roots of a mature tree after the tree is cut and often form dog hair stands. They were considered a pioneer prep species and would rotate out at around fifty years.
