'Tiss I. Those are made by Buff, not much for warmth nor really good for hiking but the silicone grip on the palms is great for getting a hold of fish.

It was a very nice trip, planning on trying to get one more in before the weather turns cool.

    Thanks, Paul!

First, a lot of gratitude for pgibson for organizing this trip. I know it is a lot of time and effort trying to coordinate with everybody. And the annual Idaho hang was just the incentive that I needed to return to a place that I had not visited since I was a teen-ager. Although, I didn't hook up with the others until the end of the trail for the camping portion, I had a wonderful time.

Both pgibson and MuseJr were very generous with helpful pointers about flies and fishing techniques. As Weird1 also said, one of the most memorable parts of the trip will be landing my first fish with a Tenkara rod. On my drive out of the Wilderness, I also pulled over and caught some more small trout in the Payette River. I suppose I am hooked on Tenkara.

I then made a detour through Utah, and arrived at my GF's in California last night. Hopefully, I got some good photos too. I'll upload some when I sort through them.

Awesome pics. I am heading out to the Sawtooths Sept. 5 for a week. Using my ENO doublenest for the first time. Any suggestions regarding bug nets, UQ's..... for this time of year.

The 5th is the start of the hang this year Where are you going to be?

Due to the fires in the area I am still trying to sort out exactly where we will be hanging and hiking at.

Bugs are not to bad right now but a head net never hurt as the minimum. Plan for night time temps to be around the upper 20's in the lower valley and in the 30's up in the mountains. That time of year when the cool air settles into the lowest parts of the valley at nite.
