I expect to get some questions for this, so here is the deal. I love this hammock, it just packs to big for me. it is all stock hammock, tarp, suspension, I will even throw in 4 SMC decender rings. It is a great hammock the specks are on hennessy web site. this is a huge hammock. I will take $175 shipped paypal fees included. It is the bottom entry. trades considered!!!!
It comes with the hex tarp, too.

Do you know the actual inside length? Hennessy's site isn't much help when I try and compair it to the Explorer Deluxe. Seems the numbers may be a tad off. By compairing the two, the Safari is only 4 inches longer, but more narrow by the diagonal. Also, would you have a hammock weight without fly?

I don't know the dimensions, but I will tell you it is very big. I am 6 feet tall and I feel small in it. I can sit up in it with out hitting the ridge line. I have a warbonnet black bird and it is no comparison size wise.

Its Flipping HUGE.. If you feel cramped in hammocks.. it might be your fix.

That dimension on the Explorer or 56 is on the diagonal. If I read it right the Safari dimension is 52 straight across not on the diagonal, I would guess that puts it in the 60 inch diagonal range. At least that is how I read the specks.

I have both. Without measuring: the Explorer is larger overall than some hammocks, the Safari is MUCH bigger than the Explorer. All that is listed at the web(regarding length) site is RL length. Going by that, the Safari is only 4" longer than the Explorer, which is in turn 8" longer than the Expedition/UL backpacker. But in reality, the Safari has much more fabric length, way more than the 4". IOW, it has a LOT more sag, it hangs way further under the RL than any other commercial hammock I have seen. Some people think the more sag the more comfortable, at least to a point. I find the Safari extremely comfortable.
