I am ready to pre drill
The two spots I picked are 16 ft apart. Help me again with how high I should put my hardware given that distance??
Thanks

...can someone give me a link to the drawing that shows height of hammock in reference to distance between trees?
It's different for everyone, but at 16' I personally hang at just about heat height. So lets say 6'. The rest is all about suspension adjustment.
I have tall dogs, so I could even see me doing it 7' to give me some ground clearance so they aren't bumping into me all night long...then just adjust the suspension to get the right about of sag.

Dont get to hung up on details... when your in the woods do you bring a tape with you and measure how far apart, and how high you hang?... I ussually hang at about eye level, and use my suspension to find the sweet spot.. I have 3 indoor mounts that i just " eye balled" I can hang comfortably in each one even though im sure there all different... I spent more time worrying about how to get the best veiw of my tv, and being exaclty half way form the fridge and bathroom lol...
Thanks folks. I am going to do some damage now.

Good Luck Mountaingoat, Good Luck... Enjoy your "New Indoor Hagnin Spot". Hey if you don't mind would like to see some pics, (please).
I hike with SCISSORS cause it makes me feel dangerous ... LoL
I did it!!
Found the studs (by sound) drilled in a little sideways, in case it was 2 2X4's. Did not have a big enough socket, but the ViseGrip turned those screws just fine.
Thanks everybody : )
Pictures coming soon
